What is Universal Waste?
As of February 9, 2006 the public and business community can no longer place some
common items in the trash. Those items are called Universal Waste and they include:
- All fluorescent lamps and tubes
- All batteries
- All electronic devices
- Thermostats that contain mercury
- And More!
