SB 1383 will require some food facilities to partner with a local food recovery organization to donate savable food. Additionally, residences will be provided a means of recycling organic kitchen waste. Donating food and recycling food waste are easy ways to address food insecurity in your community and reducing food waste filling our landfills.
- If you own a food facility in Riverside County, please see our informational bulletin and the CalRecycle website for more details.
