Liquid waste shall be collected by an approved liquid waste hauler who is registered with this department. Liquid waste haulers can provide an array of services such as portable toilets and handwash sinks and the safe and sanitary pumping of septage from septic tanks, portable toilets, and grease traps/interceptors.
To become a liquid waste hauler:
- Complete the application
- Schedule an inspection appointment of your vehicle
- Bring the appropriate fees to your appointment
- Ensure your vehicle is properly equipped
Once a liquid waste hauler has been approved to operate, a monthly pumper report must be submitted by the 10th of the following month to the office where the vehicle was inspected.
